Rail service

This edit was just made. It's not fully clear. Does this mean there is no longer any rail service to Chemainus? If so, the simple, clear way to say that is "There used to be rail service to Chemainus, but as of May 2016, there is no longer any service." Ikan Kekek (talk) 03:11, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

There's been no passenger train service for nearly five years (service was suspended in 2011). There's been talk about reviving it, but it keeps running into hurdles. Wikipedia has a bit of background on it, and this is a more detailed look at the current situation. I think it's cleaner to just remove the section altogether. Victoria and Nanaimo don't have "by rail" sections either. -Shaundd (talk) 05:22, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
