The towns on the spit have been updated. POIs, Get in etc belong there, so it looks like this page is destined to become extra-hierarchical:
- Klaipėda describes the northern third of the spit – indeed Smiltynė at its tip is a city district. Juodkrantė is treated as the south limit of this page – it’s actually in Neringa County but is visited via Klaipėda not Nida.
- Nida describes the middle section, as far as the border.
- Neringa county is virtually the same place. That page is a hollow duplicate and I intend to merge it into Nida – transferring its banner, more evocative than the present Nida banner.
- Zelenogradsk is the natural home for POIs south of the border, but has no English page. It would be straightforward to create this from its Russian page, but with travel there so shut down just now it would be difficult to update, so I’m leaving it alone for the present edit cycle.
