West Falls[edit]

Where should a restaurant in West Falls be listed. West Falls is a hamlet located in the town of Aurora. East Aurora is a village in the town of Aurora. BuffaloBob (talk) 18:39, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The "boundaries" of what is and is not covered in a given Wikivoyage article don't always have to match up exactly with the official municipal borders, especially if the author deems it more useful to the traveller to organize it another way. (For an example, see Rochester (New York), whose listings also include places in inner-ring suburban areas with Rochester ZIP codes.)
My personal opinion on the matter is that the local vernacular often uses the term "East Aurora" to describe any location within the Town of Aurora, so the East Aurora article should follow that convention as well. But there's a great deal of freedom for individual authors to use their own judgment in cases like this, so the best snswer to your question is to do whatever makes the most sense to you.

Lede[edit]

I reverted your recent edit to the intro. Usually the way we set that section up is to refer to the next article upward in the breadcrumb hierarchy, which - since the Town of Aurora doesn't have its own article - would be Southtowns. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 04:06, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
