The title of the city is not true. İzmit is only a part of Kocaeli. The true name of this city is Kocaeli.--UcuncuUlus (talk) 17:02, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kocaeli is not a city, it is a province that covers the area between Kefken and Karamürsel (around 100 km apart), which also happens to be a metropolitan municipality. Vidimian (talk) 16:07, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
