Fontcouverte-la-Toussuire[edit]
Some listings had location information as "Fontcouverte-la-Toussuire". Is that synonymous with "La Toussuire"?
If they are synonyms then recent deletions of "Fontcouverte-la-Toussuire" in listings are correct. If not, those deletions should be reverted. Either way, the longer name should probably be mentioned in the lede. Pashley (talk) 19:09, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- well, for the record (it was I who deleted all the stuff), every one of them was identical, same name, same postal code. If and when some listing is different in the article, I let it stay. Ibaman (talk) 19:18, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- w:Fontcouverte-la-Toussuire says it is a commune & w:La Toussuire says it is in the commune. I do not know the French system well enough to know what that implies for usage here. Pashley (talk) 20:06, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- I think Fontcouverte-la-Toussuire is a wider area. Translated from the municipality website "Fontcouverte-La Toussuire is made up of 16 hamlets which line the road from the hamlet of Plan des Rois to the La Toussuire station."
