So, I removed the first person stuff from this article. See Project:first person pronouns for why we kinda avoid them. --(WT-en) Evan 14:59, 28 Nov 2003 (PST)

I will be making major additions to this page during August and September 2005. If there's something you'd like to know about Los Alamos (town, not lab), please leave an inquiry here and I'll try to include answers as the page expands. (WT-en) Bill-on-the-Hill 12:48, 27 Aug 2005 (EDT)

Black Hole[edit]

Thanks to the anonymous author who added the "Black Hole." How could I ever have omitted that (the proprietor is a friend of mine)? But it's more "See" than "Do," so I moved it. -- (WT-en) Bill-on-the-Hill 10:23, 27 Jan 2006 (EST)

It seems this article needs another section: "Shop". Hahahaha. I have heard customers in Casa Mesita exclaim, as they hoist their bags of loot, "and they say there's no shopping to be found on the Hill!" --(WT-en) Una Smith 18:29, 2 September 2007 (EDT)

Trinity Beverage Co[edit]

deleted text:

  • Trinity Beverage Company, 2201 Trinity Drive (behind the Quality Inn), +1 505 662-3800: The newest upper-end restaurant in town is very popular, in no small part because it's one of the few with a satisfactory bar. The design is sophisticated, yet comfortable. The chef cannot be ignored either: try the fresh turkey wrap, the sliced beef sandwich, great salads, or any of the pizzas. Open 6 days for lunch and dinner. [1]

As of September 2007, the restaurant is closed. Its location is being demolished. Will it open again in a new location? --(WT-en) Una Smith 18:29, 2 September 2007 (EDT)

It's reportedly re-opening at the Hilltop House. Let's defer adding a mention until details are clearer. "Its location is being demolished"? Say what? -- (WT-en) Bill-on-the-Hill 01:23, 9 September 2007 (EDT)

Public transportation[edit]

Contrary to the article, now Los Alamos has public transportation! --66.167.43.206 22:48, 7 February 2008 (EST)

So plunge forward and improve the article! :-) -- (WT-en) Bill-on-the-Hill 22:52, 7 February 2008 (EST)

Population[edit]

I'm pretty sure we have 19kish people in Los Alamos county ... This is white rock + townsite. 12k for townsite, 6k for whiterock...

Already covered on Wikipedia. --(WT-en) Una Smith 11:27, 16 June 2008 (EDT)

Links to secondary sources[edit]

I removed Los Alamos Clubs from the Connect section, because it is not a primary source; Wikivoyage is not supposed to link to guides (secondary sources). --(WT-en) Una Smith 01:32, 21 June 2008 (EDT)
