Airport[edit]

The article mentions Jevlach airport (IATA EVL), is this Yevlakh Airport (IATA YLV)? --Traveler100 (talk) 02:01, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Traveler100: Jevlach and Yevlakh are both transliterations of the same Cyrillic word (Евлах), a legacy of the old Azeri Cyrillic alphabet. On that basis, I would say they are almost certainly the same airport. The IATA code complicates things, but I can't find any evidence of an existing airport with the code EVL, which makes me think this is just a mistake. Hope that helps.
