Moved Belize to Central America. It is listed that way on the main country page. Not sure why it was under Caribbean -(WT-en) Huckabmm 11:56, 8 August 2008 (EDT)
Is there a reason Bermuda is not listed here? I can't imagine why not... JB

Why are the countries of these two regions listed here, when they are also listed as separate continents (regions) on the front page? (WT-en) Sertmann 13:43, 4 October 2008 (EDT)
- It seems pretty clear that Central America and the Caribbean are part of North America, which is why they are listed on this page - if we left Mexico or Cuba out of North America that would seem fairly odd. - I agree with Sertmann here, as now the list is awfully long and hard to navigate. The map doesn't show the countries, so I think it'd be best to have a list like this:

Other Destinations
I think the world's most popular resort destination ought to be listed under Other Destinations. I would suggest it replace one of the two Mayan archeological sites, although Corcovado National Park or Viñales might be candidates as well. (WT-en) LtPowers 15:36, 28 June 2010 (EDT)

- 17 million people went through the Magic Kingdom (just the Magic Kingdom) turnstiles in 2007. That's triple the number of people who visit the Grand Canyon each year, twice as many people as visit the Louvre each year, almost twice as many as visit Acapulco, and more people than even live in the entire nation of Cuba. It is indisputably an enormous attraction for travelers; a significant portion of people reading this guide will be planning on visiting Walt Disney World. (As for geographic distribution, the list has only two-and-a-half U.S. destinations on it currently, which is not unreasonable for a country of the U.S.'s size.) Remeber, the Other Destinations list is intended to provide quick links to the traveler's most likely destinations, not to highlight things in which we think they ought to be interested. - Tikal is quite important, while Viñales is definitely not, but it is the sole OD for the Caribbean in the list. I'd actually remove one of the U.S. destination, since there are three, and +WDW would make four. Yellowstone seems the clear choice, I'd say. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 21:50, 14 August 2010 (EDT)
- Niagara Falls counts for both U.S. and Canada, let's be fair. =) Yellowstone was the first national park in the world, and still the most famous. It seems more important to me than Corcovado, Viñales, or even Banff as parks go. I'm still not sure how to reconcile a desire not to see the U.S. over-represented with the desire to include a traveler's most likely destinations. The Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls (which is also Canadian) are two incomparable natural wonders of the world. WDW is the most-visited theme park resort in the world. Yellowstone is the most well-known national park in the world, and certainly seems more important than Corcovado or Viñales as national parks go. I also don't like having two Mayan ruins on the list; do we really need both Chichen Itza and Tikal? (WT-en) LtPowers 08:04, 1 November 2010 (EDT)
This deserves an entire article, I think. Can we add a link to an article that includes all the most popular destinations in North America? There are easily 30 major ones that everyone thinks of. Vaxine19

List all countries?

- I agree. We used to list all the countries and dependencies, but decided in an above thread to list only the parent regions, to avoid overwhelming the page with the list. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 16:01, 8 August 2010 (EDT)
- Well, the list then was different than what was attempted today. Back then, there wasn't even a regionlist template; today's change at least made use of the regionlist parameters to display the constituent countries the way we normally do. (WT-en) LtPowers 22:09, 8 August 2010 (EDT)
