Proposed move to Nueva Helvecia[edit]

It seems this town is usually called "Nueva Helvecia" nowadays. This has been my strong impression for a while—I've heard it called "Nueva Helvecia" many times, but I've only heard it called "Colonia Suiza" a few times, usually in a context like "Nueva Helvecia, que también se llama Colonia Suiza...". This was also confirmed for me today by a Uruguayan colleague who has worked in Colonia and Nueva Helvecia for some time. —Granger (talk · contribs) 21:13, 11 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Seeing no objections, I've moved the page. —Granger (talk · contribs) 20:54, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I vaguely remember a billboard with the text "Colonia Suiza" and the Swiss coat of arms next to the Montevideo-Colonia highway in 2014. But locals probably know better. :) ϒpsilon (talk) 21:00, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
