Ogbunike shouldn't be merged into Oyi[edit]

Ogbunike is a distinct town in Oyi Local Government, which is more of a sub regional administrative division with different towns and villages within it.

Ogbunike is a distinct town with several national tourism attractions and it's best preserved as a stand alone article. Timmylegend (talk) 13:30, 25 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ogbunike is a town on its own with six villages and a traditional ruler thereby making it a sub regional administrative division. It is also one of the towns that made up Oyi Local Government Area. Merging it into Oyi may not bring out all the potential of the town. Ogbunike is the home of ‘Ogbunike cave’ one of Nigeria’s and UNESCO Tourist Site

I humbly recommend that Ogbunike shouldn’t be merged into Oyi but should be allowed to stand on its own because Ogbunike fall within the meaning of a Regional Administrative Division. I promise to upgrade the Article to make it whole. Thank you.
