What is this about Manayunk being 25 miles from the suburbs? That is the most poorly written statement I've ever read. "The suburbs" is not a singular point or a specific town; it is a sprawling area that runs from just across the Delaware River from Trenton all the way down to the Delaware border and into northern Delaware and Maryland. And that's just northeast-southwest. Someone in Bucks or southern Chester or Delaware Counties will have no use for these directions. You can't name a road for them to turn on to without a common starting point, and that point may not be anywhere near where they are. I don't know how to do this or I'd do it myself, but you really need to change the name of this article to "Northwest," not "Upper North." Upper North is the Temple University Hospital area, Logan, Fern Rock, Olney, and East and West Oak Lane. If someone goes to Philadelphia and asks how to get to Upper North Philadelphia, they will get directions to a neighborhood they should not be in. I would recommend dividing the Upper North section of the map into Upper North and Northwest. Northwest would essentially be a wedge the runs north of Roosevelt Blvd and roughly west of, say, 20th street, although that boundary is not definite. The rest will remain in the Upper North territory, which should not have an article. Would that require splitting the article into two (Upper North & Northwest)? If so, I would be less enthusiastic, simply because I suspect one of them would wind up kind of empty (let me know if you disagree!). Well yes, but like I said, you're essentially putting people in danger if you're including that entire area of the map in your description of places they might want to visit, and more than that it's intellectually dishonest. If you want to write about Philadelphia, then write about Philadelphia, not about the way you wish it were. The fact is that nobody visiting the city should be in what is really "Upper North." Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls, Mt. Airy, Germantown, and Chestnut Hill are not referred to or considered by anybody in the Philadelphia area as "Upper North" Philadelphia, more often the "Wissahickon Valley" or "Northwest Philadelphia," although even those terms are not used very often. The fact is that for most people the area doesn't have a cohesive name that applies to all neighborhoods, but Upper North is certainly not one you should use. —The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) 68.42.17.94 (talk • contribs)

That all sounds fair. I'm inferring that it would be best to rename this article simply Northwest (since there isn't a better name for this amalgamation), and both note in article that the neighborhoods south and of Roosevelt and 20th respectively are in a high crime, dangerous area.
