Only true wilderness[edit]
See says "the only remaining area of true wilderness in Europe" is found here. Is this true? Is Southern Lapland truer wilderness than northern Lapland (Laponia is said to be the largest wilderness area, but seemingly not not true wilderness).
The statement can very well be true, but I'd like a definition of "true wilderness".

- Most of Sweden's surface has some traces of human activity; be it forestry, farming or reindeer herding. Truly untouched nature makes up less than 1% of the country. Not sure about exact definitions and terminology, though. /Yvwv (talk) 19:10, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- Yes. I now noticed that this was earlier titled Lapland, which includes Laponia. I still wonder whether Swedish Lapland has any significantly truer wilderness than Finnish Lapland, Norway (e.g. Hardangervidda) or the western slopes of Ural. --LPfi (talk) 19:13, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
