I assume so. I think it only sounds cumbersome because we're not used to it. "Western North Carolina" is a similar phrase that's commonly used. —Granger (talk · contribs) 14:35, 15 February 2019 (UTC)

Yes we should, for clarity. Macedonia (Greece) splits that region into west, central and eastern Macedonia too, although there are not subregion articles for those places. Ground Zero (talk) 18:16, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
