Usable / History

• oh well, by this time, I could by myself create this Usable article with its fairly complete History section (from the European POV). I reckon the First Nations POV merits some mentioning, too. Maybe @Ground Zero: and @Hobbitschuster: might want to cover the gap. I wish to be able to visit this destination some day in my lifetime. Ibaman (talk) 15:41, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

Guide status?

There's lots of good work here but I think it's premature to give this article Guide status. From Wikivoyage:Guide articles:

A guide article is a status rating for any article in Wikivoyage that is essentially complete. This is what a Wikivoyage article is intended to be. Not only would you not need to consult another guide, you'd really have no reason to want to: it's all here.

At this point, I don't think this article is complete. I just fixed up Get in, so contact info, service dates and prices were in the guide, plus added a listing for floatplane service (a Guide shouldn't simply say "Also possible" like it did before). Additional info I think the article needs is:

• provide the details of the cabins and campsites offered by the Mowachaht/Muchalaht First Nation
• describe the historical significance of Yuquot to the local First Nations people (also on yuquot.ca), and
• mention the Nootka Trail

From what I've read, there's also a gift shop in the church.
