[edit]Woodside, Queens was originally seattle by native Americans, it was named by a South Carolinian the area was part of Newtown Township, Woodside is one of the oldest Communities in Queens, was first develop on a large scale beginning in 1867 by speculative residential neighborhood builder Benjamin W. Hitchcock, who also founded Corona and Ozone Park, and John Andrew Kelly.

Saints & Sinners Woodside NY Located at 5921 Roosevelt Ave, Woodside, NY 11377-3546 This is a place that is usually packed because it is close to the trains, buses. many people comes. Usual Irish pub fare and lots of beer available, and is part of the nicer extension of Roosevelt Avenue, a part of an established commercial. community. It doesn't get 5 stars simply because it gets a little too crowded for my taste after 5 pm, though some people love it that way. Nice place, nice people, LOTS of people, good service.
