Welcome to Wikivoyage! I see that you have been adding information about Epoque hotels to at least the Seattle and San Francisco articles (I haven't yet checked the other recent edits from your IP address). I'll guess that you work for Epoque Hotels. As a volunteer contributor, I'm glad to have you on Wikivoyage. I'd encourage you to consider the following:

  • read Project:Welcome, newcomers
  • read Project:Welcome, business owners to guide your Epoque Hotels postings.
  • read Project:Don't tout. The entries about Epoque Hotels that I read were reasonable, but carried over a bit more sales language than I think travellers need. Better to spend the energy putting accurate prices and checkin/out times into the article.
  • consider creating a user name for yourself. This lets you disclose any connection you might have to Epoque Hotels, and increases the confidence others will have in your edits.

Thank you! (WT-en) JimDeLaHunt 15:49, 21 September 2007 (EDT)

Non-primary hotel booking site links[edit]

I have been removing your epoquehotels.com links as non-primary links. Please explain why you think the links should remain after reading Project:External links or I will seek to have your site blocked. (WT-en) OldPine 22:31, 28 September 2007 (EDT)
