Cities

Hello, Donald Ralokwae! We're glad to have you here. This site's coverage of Southern Africa is weak and definitely benefits from real-time improvements!

About "Cities" lists in articles: We don't go by official definitions but also include communities that may be officially called "towns", "villages", even "hamlets". Though if there's a really significant difference that would have an effect on travellers, places that are not officially cities could be put in a different subsection of the "Cities" section. Because the point to consider is where else would they go? "Other destinations" means destinations that are not communities (for example, parks, islands, or in some countries, huge temple complexes and such). Have a look at Wikivoyage:Country article template and Wikivoyage:The traveller comes first to get a feel for how these things tend to be handled on this site.

Also minor point: On talk pages, including your user talk page, it's standard to put a signature at the end of each edit by typing 4 tildes (~) in a row there. Start a thread at Talk:Botswana if you'd like to discuss further where the city listings you deleted without an edit summary (an action I interpreted at the time as vandalism) should go.

Africa Expedition

Just so you know we have an Africa Expedition because we'd like to improve our coverage of Africa, in particular sub-Saharan Africa, which is still sorely lacking. Unfortunately, it's kind of fizzled out, and all the participants were Nigerians so that certainly isn't enough if we want to improve coverage of Africa as a whole, since Africa is such a huge and diverse continent, but please consider bring part of the expedition if you have the energy and time.
