User talk:Someone's Moving Castle
Hello, welcome, and thanks for plunging forward and contributing!
You may find the tips for new contributors page useful. It's full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.
If you are a Wikipedian, you may notice some differences in the style of our articles.
Some terms you may be used to in Wikipedia have analogs in Wikivoyage:
- "be bold" → plunge forward
- "featured article" → star article or destination of the month
- "NPOV" → be fair (not quite the same thing!)
- "sandbox" → graffiti wall
- "quality assessment" → article status
- "Village pump" or Simple English's "Simple talk" → travellers' pub
- "WikiProjects" → Expeditions
- "External links" → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.
Wikipedia articles are linked only at the end of articles (to appear in the sidebar) and are only on the same subject as the Wikivoyage article (that is, a destination).
If you would like help on anything, check out Project:Help, or post a message here or in the travellers' pub.
All the best,

- Yeah, good stuff.
- I notice you are contributing in the region, wonder if you have an opinion to offer at Talk:East China. Pashley (talk)
