Hurray!

Great work updating the article for one of my own personal bucket-list destinations, Pyongyang! Keep it up, Wikivoyager! -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 01:19, 10 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Seconded! One small question in regard to Okryu. You say it "was founded in 1960 and is the only restaurant to survive from before the war." Is the founding date incorrect? Should it, perhaps, be 1950? Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:14, 17 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
wikipedia seems to confirm the 1960 opening date - I'll try to track down where that reference came from - it may be in regards to the building rather than the restaurant. Ttocslliw (talk) 06:23, 17 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Currency in North Korea

[edit]

Hi, I moved your infobox about 'Currency in North Korea' from Pyongyang to North Korea itself. I left in the sentence about debit cards for department stores. Do you know how to get these? It would be interesting to hear about them. --Andrewssi2 (talk) 23:50, 31 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

You're right that currency issues are relevant to the whole country, but the infobox seems redundant on the country page. I was aiming to provide some context for how to expect to buy stuff while in pyongyang. Don't know if a link or putting something brief in the pyongyang page makes sense. Sure, an infobox with any Pyongyang specific information would be fine. For example, (I'm guessing) there are no department stores outside the capital, so information to that kind of shopping would be only relevant to Pyongyang. I'm not sure about other aspects of spending outside Pyongyang. --Andrewssi2 (talk) 08:50, 1 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
