friend from the phillipines
i have a friend in the phillipines i have been trying to get to the uk, we were informed she would need 200.000php allowance this was put into my name so it could easily be cashed by myself once she arrived only for her to be refused boarding the flight because it was not in her name, her aunt has now offered to borrow her 70.000php would she be allowed to fly with this amount?
- We don't offer immigration advice. I suggest you look at HM Government's Visas and immigration portal. Good luck, ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 11:32, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
RV renting in France
Asked by: Hongyan Wang
Where can I rent RV in Nice France, and drop off in Marseille France?
- It is probably best to search for "campervan" or "motorhome". One site which I found online had several to rent in mid-September with one week costing from €1150. It would take about half a day for one of you to drive the van back to Nice and get the train to Marseille which might give you a bigger selection. AlasdairW (talk) 22:06, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
Transiting Suvarnabhumi airport
I am travelling from Bangalore to Perth by Thai Airways transiting Bangkok. How to transit through Suvarnabhumi Airport as stop over time is only 1hr 25mts. Asked by:U.R.G.Bhat U.R.G. Bhat (talk) 15:32, 22 July 2018 (UTC) --U.R.G. Bhat (talk) 15:32, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
- Info we have is at Suvarnabhumi Airport. It may be too late for you to reschedule for this trip, but I never accept a booking with less than four hours for an international connection. You are likely OK, though, since the flights are on the same airline so probably the same terminal. Pashley (talk) 16:39, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
- One thing to add is that if you happened to miss your connection because of the delay from earlier flight (not because you were at duty-free shop and forgot to arrive at the boarding gate in time), let the ground staff know and ask them to help you re-book the flight. If both flights are flown by Thai Airways, they should be able to accommodate you on the next flight if there's seats available because Thai Airways is a full-service carrier, not a low-cost carrier. They may also offer you a meal voucher and hotel (if the next available flight is on the next day). OhanaUnitedTalk page 04:54, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
- As OhanaUnited mentions you should be fine as you are connecting with the same airline. I have even had airline staff expediting passengers through the airport to keep connections if the first stage is a little late. --Traveler100 (talk) 06:06, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
