Protection?

Given that April 1 is now over, and based on past history with April Fool's articles attracting attention well after their initial launch, would it make sense to protect this article from further edits? At this point it really is no longer a living document, but is instead a record of what we did on April 1, 2010, so I'd think protection makes sense. Maybe not??? I added move & edit protections, yet somehow a listing change still got through: [1]. Is this a bug in the software that allows edits via listing tags even for protected articles? In any case, the change was minor, but if I've somehow messed up the protection I'd be grateful if someone else could review and let me know what I did wrong. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 13:58, 2 April 2010 (EDT)

I can't find anything wrong and didn't duplicate the problem, but I'll hazard a guess that the listings editor would indeed work despite protection, but the interface is disabled. So, in this case, maybe the editor either already had the listings editor open before protection, or accessed it through a cached version of the page? --(WT-en) Peter ^Talk 19:48, 2 April 2010 (EDT)
