Yulong Naxi Autonomous County(simplified Chinese: 玉龙纳西族自治县; traditional Chinese: 玉龍納西族自治縣; pinyin: Yùlóng Nàxīzú Zìzhìxiàn; Naxi: Yulleq Naqxiceef Zeeqzheeqxail) is a county located in the northwest of Yunnan Province, China, bordering Sichuan Province to the northeast. It is the westernmost county-level division of the prefecture-level city of Lijiang. Wenhai village and lake along with Jade Dragon Snow Mountain are some of the famous scenic spots found here.

Jade Dragon is the home of ancient human beings and the place where the Naxi people moved earlier. This was the place where the Tang Dynasty, Tubo and Nanzhao fought for the throne, and it was also the place where Kublai Khan led 100,000 Mongolian cavalry to conquer the Dali Kingdom southward. It is the birthplace of the Lijiang Mu family chieftain, which is famous for its "vast land", "the furthest inheritance", "richest county among all the counties" and "knowledge of poetry and books, good etiquette and righteousness". It is also the place where the Red Army passed through during the Long March and crossed the river. It is the cradle of revolution in northwest Yunnan.

It is located in Shanqingli at the eastern foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, on the lower right side of the main peak of the snow mountain, and has Yunshanping Cableway and other attractions. Legend has it that Yunshanping is the place where the first couple of the Naxi people died in love. According to legend, the founders of love affairs among the Naxi people were Kaimei and Yulepai. Their love life was like a bee flower, but their feudal marriage was ruined by polygamy. They yearned for a free love life, so they both went to the spruce tree. Pingqing died. So during the Torch Festival in June, young men and women living in villages near Yulong Mountain made paper figures symbolizing Kaimei and Yulepai and came to Yunshanping to pay homage to the first couple who fell in love. Driving 25 kilometers north along the Snow Mountain Park, you will enter an open alpine meadow, which is Ganhaizi. Ganhaizi is a natural meadow pasture with gently undulating terrain and low pine trees scattered on the vast meadow.
