Majha is a region of the state of Punjab, in India. It is an area between the rivers Ravi and Beas which consists of the 3 districts of Gurdaspur, Amritsar, and Tarn Taran.
Majha historically referred to the central portion of Punjab before it was split between India and Pakistan in 1947. Much like Punjab itself, Majha was divided during the partition with Lahore being the biggest city on the Pakistani side of Majha, and Amritsar being the biggest city on the Indian side of Majha.
This region travel guide to Majha is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here. Please plunge forward and help it grow!
