In the German version of the Wikivoyage articles there is also a chapter/subdirectory called "Practical Information" where useful general infos can be placed that don't fit into the standard subs. I miss that in the English version. Can I just put a subdirectory "Practical Information"? —The preceding comment was added by DocWoKav (talkcontribs)

What kind of information? Depending on what kind of info it is, it might belong in "Cope", "Understand" or perhaps somewhere else, but the best way to answer woudl be to see the list. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:45, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

e.g. where to change money, about beach boys, WIFi and telephone, power adaptors, etc. To put all the small but important info that doesn't fit well elsewhere DocWoKav

Where to change money belongs in "Buy". I don't know what a beach boy is, so I can't say. Wi-Fi and telephone info belongs in "Connect", and I'd put power adapter info there, too, because that's also about connectivity. Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:40, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Use of marker templates

[edit]

Listing templates instead of marker templates are normal for listings, with some exceptions: "Go next" destinations shouldn't use either. Instead, the distance from Mtwapa (and number of hours' drive or whatever) should be mentioned along with, ideally, the direction. Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:01, 17 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
