While the contributions of events on the English Wikivoyage are definitely more than welcome, it's crucial for event organizers to note that the contributions of participants should fall within Wikivoyage's goals. Events with incentives only for article creation and byte count without quality in mind may be met with resistance from the Wikivoyage community.
