Hello, Markli! Welcome to Wikivoyage. Thanks for the contributions to the Richmond Hill article.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 19:08, 14 May 2007 (EDT)

Account deletion[edit]

If you leave a message on the talk page of Evan (the co-founder and chief wizard of Wikivoyage), he can delete the account you no longer want. Glad to have you involved! - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 20:14, 14 May 2007 (EDT)
I believe it's only possible if there are no edit associated with the account. Alternatively, you could have requested a renaming of your account, which is easier, if you intend on still contributing. -- (WT-en) Sapphire(Talk) • 20:38, 14 May 2007 (EDT)
Right, I hadn't thought of that. Our copyleft license requires giving credit to every person who contributed, so if "MandarinManMark" made some edits, we have to keep him in the system. - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 21:24, 14 May 2007 (EDT)

Travel plans[edit]

Just checked out your blog, sounds like you're getting ready for a fun trip! Just wanted to mention, I wouldn't worry so much about terrorism in Morocco and Turkey... yes it exists, but you've got a much higher chance of being hit by a bus in Canada than you do of being bothered by a terrorist in either of those countries... honestly. There's thousands of tourists in both of those countries at this very moment... no doubt having a great time – you should do the same! I was in Morocco last year by the way, and I recommend stopping in Essaouira, which isn't tooo far from Ouarzazate. Anyway, that's my two cents... I doubt you'll regret going to either place, and it just might give you new perspective! Enjoy your trip! – (WT-en) cacahuate talk 00:12, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
