Hi Piotrus,

Thanks for your work on Krakow and Poland so far. Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

Wikipedia links[edit]

I see you made a link to Wikipedia's Polish cuisine article for Poland. Ideally Wikivoyage should have its own summary of Polish cuisine (traveller focussed) since one of the goals is for Wikivoyage to be complete, and another goal is for it to be useful if you print it off and stick it in your pocket. Unfortunately we can't copy the wikipedia article right in without the authors agreeing to the new licence :( -- (WT-en) Hypatia 20:22, 2 Nov 2004 (EST)

It would be much easier if WikiTravel shared same licence with Wikipedia, but I guess this has been already debated to death without me asking why it isn't so...so I'll just ask what is the policy on copying parts off articles from one Wiki to another and vice versa? Piotrus
