Kaithal is a city in Ambala Division of Haryana to the north of Delhi. The area is mostly farmland, growing rice, cotton and oil-seed. Kaithal's sights include the fort and the Shree Gyarah Rudri Mandir Temple.

- Tomb of Razia Sultan. Purported to be the place where the only female ruler of the Delhi Sultanate was originally buried.
- 1 Balu. An Indus Valley Civilisation site which has yielded many plant remains.
- 2 Tomb of Sheikh Tayyab. The resting place of the 16th century Islamic saint.
- 3 Kalayat Ancient Bricks Temple Complex, Kalayat. A temple complex built in the 8th century and now partially in ruins. It has the oldest surviving temples made from brick north of Delhi. Based on the Gurjara-Pratijara architectural style, they creatively make use of floral motifs.
