Wybunbury is in a village in Cheshire.

Wybunbury (pronounced Winds-bury in local accent) is a village about four miles from the railway town of Crewe, so is a popular destination who want to be near the railway but still want a quiet "family holiday" or day away from the hustle and bustle of the urban area.

Get in

By rail, take the railway to Crewe, and book either a taxi or take the bus to Wyndsbury.

Get around

By foot, bus or even by horse and cow.

See

Lots of dairy and beef farms in the area, so plenty of rural scenery.

  • 1 Wybunbury Moss National Nature Reserve.
  • 2 St Chad's Church. Only the tower remains of this church which can trace its history back to the Domesday Book of 1086. The 29.3 m (96 ft) tower was built in the 15th century and was seen to been leaning in 1750.
