Naukuchiatal is one of the most beautiful hill stations in Kumaon in Uttarakhand. It is known for its breathtaking smoky mountains, 175-foot-deep Nine Corners Lake, paragliding and other adventure activities.

Bijroligaon
  • Bijroli Village, Naukuchiatal Road (1 km distance away from Hanuman Mandir, above Green Valley Hotel). A small village (Gaon) near Pandeygaon on Naukuchiatal Road, surrounded by lush-green smoky mountains and home to hundreds of bird species, this village is about 800 m away from Bhaktidham Ashram and 1.2 km from Naukuchiatal Lake.

  • 1 Jungaliagaon, Near Bijroli (5 km driving distance from Naukuchiatal Lake). Jungaliagaon is a small village 7500 ft above sea level, popular amongst nature and paragliding lovers and home to more than 200 bird species.
  • Sattal Lake (Sat Tal) (near Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal hill stations). An interconnected group of seven freshwater lakes in the Lower Himalayan Range.
  • Hanuman Mandir Bhaktidham (Hanuman Garhi), Naukuchiatal Rd (near Kamaltaal). 52-foot-high statue of the monkey god Hanuman. It has a vaishno devi gufa (cave) as well. A separate durga temple allows elderly folks to have darshan without going through the gufa.

There are opportunities of angling and bird watching in the valley. Other activities include parasailing, paragliding, fishing, rowing, paddling and yachting.
