- 1 Marusa Gate (Ƙofar Marusa), Abdullahi Sarki Muktar Road. Marusa Gate was built around the 15th century Shabbat. It was built during the construction of the other walls of Katsina State, and derives its name from the Habe King of Dutsi, Marusa Usman.
- 2 Gobarau, Tsohowar Kasuwa Rd. One of the largest buildings in West Africa, it may have been built as early as 1400 or as late as the 18th century. It had a major reconstruction in the early 20th century. It was built as the central mosque of the city, and wax later used as a school and an institution of higher education. It has a 15-m-tall minaret.
- Katsina City Gate. Katsina city gate is a tourist attraction because of the wall that surrounds it with its seven different gates. The wall was built about 900 years ago during the reign of King Murabus. Emir's Palace, Daura.

- Fura da nono. Fira da Nono is a traditional drink made from millet and fermented cow's milk. It is often consumed during festive occasions and can be found in local markets or from Fulani herdsmen who sell it in Katsina.
- Zobe. Zobo is a popular Nigerian drink made from hibiscus petals. It is typically prepared with spices like ginger and cloves, giving it a tangy and refreshing taste. Look out for street vendors or local restaurants serving zobo in Katsina.
- Kunun tsamiya. Kunun Tsamiya is a traditional Hausa drink made from millet and tamarind. It is a popular drink in Katsina and throughout Nigeria.
