Meulaboh is a remote city in the province of Aceh in Indonesia. It is located on the western Indian Ocean coast of Sumatra island, about 175 km southeast of the provincial capital Banda Aceh. Meulaboh is among the hardest hit areas by the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake.
