[edit]- 1 Drakia Massacre Memorial, Drakia (on the left as you ascend Pelion through Drakia, just before St. Nicholas church). The memorial remembers the 115 men who were victims of a mass execution by SS soldiers on 18 December 1943. The massacre was one of multiple Nazi reprisals against the Greek Resistance in occupied Greece. In 2011, Drakia had a population of 381.

A roadside shop with large vats of at least five styles of organic honey harvested by the Koumousti family. A family member will provide samples, and you can purchase some to take with you at around €10-13 per kilo. The store also sells other handmade bee-derived products as well as homemade tsipouro. Fresh, cool mountain spring water is provided from a fountain in the parking area. €.
