When the road emerges from the villages, you will encounter a bridge after a toll post, with the VIKRAM ISPAT steel loading/unloading setup to your right and the plant to your left. Turn right immediately after you cross the bridge. Here onward the sea, and the beaches will be on your right.

You can recognize Kashid by tall trees and an open view to the sea.

[edit]

The vast stretches of beach would probably be the only best thing to see in Kashid. Some beach areas are really deserted with no humans in sight. However they are quite safe to be walked on during the evening.

Many people rent bicycles to ride along the long strip of road. Its a beautiful sight during the early mornings because you get to see the most beautiful lush greenery on either side of

Do

[edit]

This is a paradise closest to Mumbai, also called "poor man's Goa". It is the ideal place for a beach getaway from Mumbai and Pune. Even though there is not much you can do there in terms of activities but a suitable place for folk who like to runaway from the hustle bustle of the metro. Its virgin beaches always have something to explore and the enchanting atmosphere always is very welcoming.
