Jiamusi (佳木斯; Jiāmùsī) is a city in Heilongjiang Province in China.

Jiamusi is located on the riverside of Songhua River and has a population of 1.8 million. The city consists of the following districts

By plane

There are flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Harbin, and international flights from Russia. The airport (JMU) is 10km east of the city centre.

By train

There are frequent trains from Harbin, which take 6-8 hours and cost ¥36-196. Other trains include departures from Shenyang (13-15 hours; ¥67-362), Tianjin (23-24 hours; ¥179-544), Beijing (24 hours; ¥179-544), Dalian (20 hours), Yantai (36 hours; ¥248-750), Panjin (16-20 hours; ¥78-411), Hegang, Mudanjiang and Shuangyashan.

By bus

The main bus station is at 146 Zhanqian Lu, Qianjin District.

By boat

There are boats along the river from Harbin in the summer months.
