Open all day. A major wetland park covering an area of around 11 km². The park is an important breeding site for migratory birds. General entry to the park is free. A 50- to 60-minute boat ride around the lake costs ¥30 per adult passenger (children between 1 and 1.2 meters in height are charged ¥20 and children under 1 meter in height are given free tickets). • Zhoukou Shaying River Wetland Park (周口沙颍河湿地公园) landscape is beautiful, with clear river water and lush vegetation. Walking along the river, you can see many exotic plants, such as reeds, rushes and rushes buds, and many rare wild animals, such as ducks, geese and herons, and many rare fish in the river, such as carp, chub and catfish.

Eat

• Dengcheng pig trotter (邓城猪蹄) is a special food in Zhoukou Dengcheng Town, and the production process has been spread for hundreds of years. Pig skin soft waxy elastic teeth, a bite down, mouth meat fragrance, taste infinite. In the middle and late Qing Dynasty, Dengcheng pig trotter became a tribute into the royal family. Its appearance of fresh color, fresh with tendons, taste meat mellow, tendon crispy, refreshing not greasy.
• Niurou Zhengcai (牛肉蒸菜) is a common street food in Zhoukou, mostly in the evening. Steamed dumplings are often flavored with spices and eaten with mashed garlic and sesame paste. This unique taste makes the steamed beef dish a unique dish in Zhoukou cuisine. The tenderness of the beef and the aroma of the ingredients blend together to bring a unique flavor enjoyment.
