Pali is a city of 230,000 people (2011) in Rajasthan state. It is located north of Bandi river, a tributary of Luni river. It is known as "The Industrial City".

Pali is 70 km (43 mi) south east of Jodhpur.

Pali is well connected by road and rail with Beawar & Jodhpur.

Pali Railway station has service from major cities railway stations like Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, Chennai, Bikaner, Pali, Jaipur, Ahmedabad.

Jodhpur Airport (75 km away) which is well connected with regular domestic flights from Delhi and Mumbai.

  • 1 Bajarang Bagh Temple.
  • 2 Lakotia Mahadev Temple.
  • 3 Bangar Museum, Nehru Nagar, Mahaveer Nagar (close to the old Bus stand of Pali). Daily 10AM-4:30PM. A small museum with a good collection of stone artifacts acquired from different places of Rajasthan. It exhibits ancient, historical and artistic items such as costumes, coins, and arms.

Pali is famous for its sweet named Gulab Halwa made from milk and rose. Pali is also famous for its Mehendi (henna), which is mainly produced in Sojat city which is 40 km (25 mi) away from Pali). It is also known as textile hub of Rajasthan. It is also well known for Papad.
