Ajapa is a town in Ese-Odo in Ondo State. It is an Ijaw-Arogbo community in the coastal part of Ondo state. Its people are engaged in fishing as primary occupation.

[edit]Ajapa had 6 quarters: Ajuesi, Agbojule, Aboyewa, Abugewa, Olomiloro and Dede. With a sizeable population figure, there is one secondary school and about 10 primary schools. The community is also made popular by the satellite community known as Satellite town of Amatibi.
Ajapa community which is one of the towns in Ese-Odo is notable for fishing and crude oil. Ajapa residents are mostly fishermen and women. Ese-Odo produces oil and accounts for the status of Ondo State as oil producing and the fifth among the nine members of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
