Bolesławiec is a medieval town in Lower Silesian Voivodship, Poland. Bolesławiec is a major ceramic and art centre, so there are plenty of galleries and workshops to see and experience. Nearby, lies the historic Castle Kliczkow, now fully renovated and open to both day visitors and guests.

Bolesławiec lies just off the European route E40 (Polish and German A4) about 2 hours drive from either Dresden or Wrocław. It is also connected to Berlin via the E36 (Polish A18).
