Corumbá de Goiás is a small city with some fine colonial heritage in the Brazilian state Goiás. The area around the city is known for its natural beauty and home to several impressive waterfalls, rivers and caves. The towns is also famous for its Festival of the Cavalhadas, an originally Portuguese festival remembering the Crusades and the Troy war.

  • Salto Corumbá. The most popular of the waterfalls in this area drops its streams some 60 meters high, forming a large pool with some sandy beaches at the bottom. It attracts large numbers of visitors and there are several restaurants around, making for a nice day trip.
