  • Kolomna — a city nearly 900 years old, with its own kremlin and the oldest church in Moscow Oblast, the Church of St John the Baptist (14th century)
  • Monino — a town famous for its Central Air Force Museum, one of the world's largest aviation museums
  • Noginsk
  • Orekhovo-Zuyevo — an industrial city to the east of Moscow on the Klyazma River
  • Pavlovsky Posad — a former merchant town, home to the Pokrovsko-Vasilevsky Monastery and several churches
  • Zhukovsky — this city is home to one of Russia's premiere flight research institutes
  • Zheleznodorozhny — as its name would suggest, a railway city
