Русский: Герб Шемахи: «В верхней половине щита, часть герба Каспийской области; в нижней - в серебряном поле, два, накрест, ружейные ствола; на них распущен кусок шелковой материи, а под ними медный кувшин; по сторонам две золотые рыбы - в знак того, что находятся обширные оружейные и медные заводы и шелковые фабрики, а в Сальяне и рыбные промыслы». Утверждён 21 мая 1843 г.
