Between 1851-1856 Karl Marx lived on the top floor of this building, with his wife and maid (both pregnant by him) and four children, after he was expulsed of his two previous addresses due to non payment of the rent. The blue commemorative plaque at the builing remembers "Karl Marx (1818-1883) lived here 1851-56". Deutsch: Gaststätte Quo Vadis an der Dean Strasse 28, London. Zwischen 1851-1856 lebte Karl Marx auf dem Dachgeschosse dieses Gebäudes, mit seiner Frau und Dienstmädchen (beide schwanger von ihm) und seine vier Kinder. Er zieh ins Gebäude ein nachdem er von seinen zwei vorhergehenden Adressen rausgeworfen wurde wegen nicht Bezahlung der Miete. Die blaue Gedenktafel am Gebäude erklärt " Karl Marx (1818-1883) lebte hier 1851-56". Français : Restaurant Quo Vadis à la rue Dean 28, Londres. Entre 1851-1856 Karl Marx a habité au dernier étage de ce bâtiment, avec son épouse et bonne (les deux enceintes par lui) et ses quatre enfants. Il s'y est installé après qu'il eté expulsé de ses deux adresses précédentes à cause de n'avoir pas payé le loyer. La plaque commémorative bleue explique "Karl Marx (1818-1883) a vécu ici 1851-56". |
