English: The Rheinkniebrücke was built between 1964 and 1969 and has become a characteristic landmark of the city of Düsseldorf. It connects the districts of Oberkassel and Niederkassel with Carlstadt, Unterbilk and the Düsseldorf government district and serves as an important arterial road for crossing the Rhine. The cable-stayed bridge is 561 metres long and 28.9 metres wide and has a 144 metres high pylon.
