Deutsch: Externsteine am Wiembecke-Teich. Die Externsteine sind eine markante Sandstein-Felsformation im Teutoburger Wald und bilden eine herausragende Natursehenswürdigkeit in Deutschland. Innerhalb von Nordrhein-Westfalen im Kreis Lippe gelegen, gehören sie zu Horn-Bad Meinberg und sind vom Wiembecke-Teich und von einer parkartigen Anlage umgeben.
English: The Externsteine are a distinctive rock formation located in the district of Lippe within the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, not far from the city of Detmold at Horn-Bad Meinberg. The formation stands beside the Wiembecke-pond and is a tor consisting of several tall, narrow columns of rock which rise abruptly from the surrounding Wiembecke-pond and wooded hills.
