Deutsch: Ostansicht des Augustiner-Chorherrenstiftes in der niederösterreichischen Stadt Herzogenburg.
Das Kloster wurde 1112 durch Ulrich I. von Passau in St. Georgen an der Traisen am Zusammenfluss der Traisen mit der Donau gegründet und 1244 nach Herzogenburg verlegt. In der ersten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhundert erfolgte ein weitgehender Neubau des Stiftes, inklusive der Kirche, und erhielt dabei im Wesentlichen sein heutiges Erscheinungsbild. |
