Summary

Picture of the treestump plaque in Haarlemmerhout park, Haarlem. Among other things, the plaque says that the treestump next to the plaque was chopped down in 2002. It was planted in 1735. In 1792 the park was redesigned with funds from the banker Henry Hope. The herd of small deer that reside in the park were introduced in 1828. The monument to Laurens Janszoon Coster was placed in 1823, and the monument to Hildebrand was placed in the 1960's. This Monument was placed by the parks comission in 2002. Photo Date: April 2007
