English: Potassium deficiency in cabbage; from a field trial at Cedara, KwaZulu-Natal. The plant on the left is deficient in K, and the plant on the right was fertilized with KCl fertilizer; Plants were planted at the same time in adjacent plots. Note that the K-deficient plant not only has a smaller head; the head is also less dense. |
