Description
English: The most iconic view of the American Southwest. Monument Valley is in the Navajo Nation reservation. It is part of the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. The East Mitten Butte (center) is the tallest at 1,026 ft or 313 m high from the plateau. The Mitten Buttes (left and center) are less than 1 mile away from the Utah-Arizona border. Photograph taken in June 2000 with a Nikon FM2, Ektachrome E100VS film, Nikkor AF 24mm f/2.8D
