Description
Français : Photographie depuis la tour Saint-Nicolas de certaines des pièces du Musée maritime de La Rochelle (Charente-Maritime, France), un musée à flots, situé dans l'ancien bassin des chalutiers du Vieux-Port. Sa collection comporte, entre autres, huit navires, dont six sont classés monuments historiques.

La frégate météorologique France I est le fleuron du Musée maritime, où elle est exposée depuis 1988, et dont elle est la première acquisition. Lancé en 1958, le France I, stationné au point géostationnaire R (ou Roméo, 47°N-17°O), a assuré des missions pour Météo France jusqu'à l'entrée en service des satellites météorologiques en 1985.

L’Angoumois est un ancien chalutier de pêche arrière, construit par les ateliers de Dieppe. Exploité par la SARMA, le dernier armateur industriel de La Rochelle, c'était l'un des trois derniers chalutiers industriels de 38 mètres encore en service en 1991.
